The coming week will be relatively calm and mild, see ya later arctic air! Tomorrow and Saturday hold a few snow chances, but after that we get a few days where we may actually see those balmy 30s again!
I'm expecting clouds to build in Friday ahead of a system to our south, and during the evening we will likely see a few light snow showers that may last into the morning on Saturday. Southeastern Iowa will likely see higher snow amounts, with some places getting 2-4", whereas I think we should most likely see around a trace to 1" here in the metro.
The rest of the weekend should be dry and a little more towards the mild side, especially for Sunday when temps should climb into the upper 20s, although there is a small chance a few flurries might sneak their way into the state. A bigger system is looming on the horizon, but next week should be pretty dry and snow free!
Have a great evening!
