A few flurries and some blowing snow will cause more problems on the roads today after some light snow fell last night. Now the storm responsible for the snow will be the culprit for the cold.
Expect frigid conditions to build into the state throughout the day. A strong cold pocket of air straight from Canada will be pushed into your neighborhood by a strong north breeze. Wind chill factors will be -15 to -25 throughout the morning, improving somewhat to near zero wind chills by the afternoon.
Tonight we'll see steady temps and I'm expecting a good temperature recovery on Thursday. Sunshine and a southwest breeze will grab hold of some mountain mild air and push it into the state tomorrow. Expect highs in the 20s and 30s.
We'll keep it wintry in the forecast this weekend with another chance for light snow and more wintry cold.
Have a great day and stay warm!
