Well, as advertised, today turned out to be a great day with just a few clouds, nice southerly breeze and highs in the mid 80s. There could be a few isolated T-showers around this evening, but most areas will remain dry and pleasant.

Temperatures will be a little warmer for most areas tonight with SE winds of 6-14 mph and increased humidity helping to hold temps in the low to mid 60s just before sunrise Thursday.

Thursday itself won't be too bad either with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s again, but there will be a decent chance for some scattered showers and storms especially later in the day and evening. The best chances will likely be in western and northern counties but we stand a chance to get some rain here to as we head into the evening and overnight hours.

Friday may start out with some clouds and showers around, but I think we will be warming up BIG time by the afternoon with highs close to 90°! The humidity will also be going up and will not relinquish for quite a long time- that means a rather muggy weekend is in store for us. But I suppose we should expect this since Summer officially begins Friday, and it is really going to feel like it this weekend with highs in the low 90s both days.

There will be a slight chance for some storms Saturday morning for mainly northern and eastern counties, but I think our best chances will come Sunday evening into MOnday as a weak system tries to make it into Iowa. Next week looks like more of the same with temps near 90 and slight chances for rain.
