Look for some more clouds to roll in today following a day of filtered sunshine. Temperatures will be a headline grabber today as many climb above 50 along and south of I-80. Later on though some scattered light showers with a few snowflakes trying to mix in north of US-30 will try to spoil the party. Overall impacts look to be light, but a few roads may see some glazing.
Tomorrow it looks like we'll have some passing scattered light sprinkles or showers with some snowflakes trying to mix in again north of US-30. Impacts there look to be light overall, but the chance for a few slick spots on roadways will be a big higher. It'll also get pretty windy.
Friday it looks like any early flurries will depart pretty quickly. It'll be noticeably cooler too following that windy Thursday afternoon. Those breezes will again pick up as some more warm air is shoved into Iowa on Saturday.
Sunday may go down as a very windy day in advance of our next storm system. Look for those winds to possibly be up around 30 mph with some chances later on for some rain showers that will eventually evolve into a wintry mix and snow by and through. It's likely that most of the mix and snow will stay in northern Iowa, but it bears watching for everyone at this point.
Have a good Wednesday!
