SALEM, Iowa (AP) - State and local investigators still have not released the names of two people killed three days ago in a mobile home fire.
Two bodies were found Wednesday inside the charred remains of the mobile home in southeast Iowa's Henry County.
The fire and possible explosion were reported about 5 p.m. Wednesday. The home sits four miles east of Salem.
Henry County Sheriff Rich McNamee tells the Burlington Hawk Eye (http://bit.ly/1h13wRZ) that the medical examiner was still attempting Friday to determine the identities of the people killed. McNamee says officials believe they know who the victims are, but won't release those names until they are certain.
McNamee says the state fire marshal's office is still investigating the cause of the fire.
