Even at 86 years old, many of Johnny Orr's friends thought he wasn't going anywhere fast.  So when he passed away on December 31st, longtime friends and players wanted to come pay their respect.

The line in Hilton Coliseum for his visitation Thursday stretched down the hallway the entire evening.  Friends and former players signed in, walked past the flowers and paid their respects to the family of Johnny Orr, the winningest basketball coach in Iowa State history.

It was one last goodbye from the Iowa state community.  Many fans walked through to meet, hug or handshake the family of the legend.

Considered the father of "Hilton Magic" most Iowa State fans will never forget how Johnny Orr left his mark.

"Just a lot of life lessons that he instilled in us that I use to this day.  So as I've said to somebody before; other than my parents, he's probably the most influential person in my life," says Keith "Lefty" Moore, a former ISU player under Coach Orr.
