If an Iowan has a big screen tv, you better guess their living room was packed Wednesday afternoon.  But since this is a holiday, a noon-time game at the bars looked like primetime.

The Outback Bowl vs. LSU was a game with many ups and down, and unfortunately for Hawkeye's fans, it ended on a down.

But at least fans were in good company.

Fans say being off from work, waking up late, then going to have some food and drinks while watching the game is not a bad way to spend a day.

" Expectations were so low and the Hawkeyes, they are tough.  They just keep fighting.  I mean it's the real Iowa pride," says Pat Moran, a Hawkeye's fan from Des Moines.

Besides the loss, another big gripe was they had to watch all those Hawkeye fans in Tampa wearing t-shirts and shorts, while we're here in the snow.
