Metairie, LA - OF Brian Bogusevic
joins the Iowa Cubs today as part of a Major League rehab assignment.
Bogusevic has been on Chicago's disabled list since July 15 with a strained left
hamstring. He will leadoff and play center field for the I-Cubs tonight in New
Bogusevic began the season with Iowa and hit .319
(83-for-260) with 14 doubles, 10 home runs, 32 RBI, and 50 runs scored in 78
games. He is still Iowa's team leader with 16 stolen bases and is only one
behind Logan Watkins for the team lead in runs scored. Bogusevic was

(12-for-46) with three doubles, three RBI, and two stolen bases before suffering
his injury. He began his rehab with the Arizona Rookie Cubs and hit .400
(10-for-25) with five RBI in seven games before joining Iowa.
