Two years removed from a Big 12 championship, Oklahoma State is prepared for another title run in Stillwater after being voted first in the Big 12 pre-season poll.

"I think it's a tribute to the men that have played before in this program, and the young men on our current team and all of the hard work they have put in," said Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy.

The Pokes have yet to decide on a starting quarterback, but they have experience and capable options in senior Clint Chelf and sophomore J.W. Walsh.

"They both can run, they both can throw really well, and they're both really good leaders, so we feel confident with each of them," said Oklahoma State wide receiver Josh Stewart.

Whoever does start at quarterback will be working with new offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich, but don't let the title fool you, this is still the same air raid offense.

"We thought it would be easier if we brought in a coach, and they learned our system, instead of 35-40 players learning a brand new offense with new terminology," said Gundy.

There's a new defensive coordinator in Stillwater as well, but it's a familiar face face in linebacker's coach Glenn Spencer.

"He will hold players more accountable to their actions, and to each other, so we will all have to trust each other
