Cyclones Fall in Round 3 vs. Jayhawks

The Kansas Jayhawks ran away from the Iowa State Cyclones in the second half, sending the Cyclones home early from the Big 12 tournament tonight, 88-73.  Kansas freshman Perry Ellis scored a career-high 23 points to lead the way for the Jayhawks.  With the loss, Iowa State finishes the regular season 22-11 and will now await their seeding in the NCAA tournament.
