The awards are derived from data for the 2013 edition of ATLANTIC-ACM's U.S. Long Haul Wholesale Carrier Report Card, which is based on individual ratings of telecommunications carriers by their wholesale customers.

The awards, which were presented by ATLANTIC-ACM president Fedor Smith, were as follows:

Sprint: Brand, Customer Service, Network, Voice Quality
XO: Billing, Data Price
