Warrants Issued for 14 in Check Fraud Case

Information from Des Moines Police:

During the week of January 14-18, 2013, police departments from Des Moines, West Des Moines, Clive, Johnston and the Polk County Sheriff's Office began receiving multiple complaints of forged checks at several different banks in the metro area.

A common denominator was identified in these cases as checks that had been stolen out of the mailbox at Crystal Clear Water, a Des Moines business.


Through the collaborative efforts of these departments with assistance from the US Postal Inspectors and the Polk County Attorney's Office, several warrants have been issued recently for the following suspects who are charged with Forgery stemming from the mail theft.


Active Warrants are now in the Iowa System and NCIC for:
