The blizzard came and went and now utility workers and everyday neighbors are left picking up the damage that the storm left behind.
Neighbors in the Merle Hay neighborhood clean up debris left on their yards and sidewalks.
During the frantic days of the storm and it's immediate aftermath, MidAmerican and public works crews were working around the clock.
MidAmerican even called in other power crews from Oregon and Utah.
40,000 people were out of power directly after the storm, but now everyone is back on.
Now they're going back over to work on the details.
"Make those minor repairs that aren't necessarily impacting some ones power right now but definitely needs attention. We want to go back through and see if there's any storm damage that may have occurred possibly a low hanging wire that for example doesn't present any danger but definitely needs to be raised in order for it to be safe and secure," says Tina Potthoff from MidAmerican Energy.
