Iowa State junior RB Shontrelle Johnson won't be ablt to play in the Liberty Bowl after suffering a knee injury that requires surgery. Head football coach Paul Rhoads made the announcement Sunday night following practice.
Johnson was Iowa State's leading rusher this season with 504 yards and 2 TDs. Junior RB James White and senior RB Jeff Woody should be expected to see more work to fill the void in the Liberty Bowl.
