Update: The winning Powerball numbers are 5, 23, 16, 22, 29 and Powerball 6.

"It'd be wonderful, yea and then you'd sit and think about all the things you'd want to do right away, but you'd have to take a deep breath and thank god," says Pat Brown, a lottery hopeful.

Iowans like Pat have lottery fever.

Even the long shot odds of 1 in 175 million are not stopping the thousands of Iowans who bought lottery tickets.

Today alone, Iowans bought over 3700 tickets per minute.

But in the end, it may not matter.  There's a 25 percent chance that nobody will win this time making a Saturday enormous.

The cash prize is estimated at $360 million, but at the rate Wednesday's been going, they're expecting that to be even higher.

You only have until 8:59 tonight to buy your ticket.

"It's literally become hard for us to even estimate and that's why you've seen the jackpot being raised and raised and raised again because we're doing our best to estimate, but sales are just so strong that they are surpassing all of our estimates," says Mary Neubauer from Iowa Lottery.

The most important thing for you to do after you buy your ticket, is to sign it so they know it's yours when you turn it in.
