The court house was filled with families this morning.

Each couple had their own emotional story.

ABC 5 tagged along through the entire adoption process with a family who just got a little bigger.

Quickly after Kelly and Roman Rooney-Kozak met through the Peace Corps six years ago they knew they would eventually adopt.

After two biological kids, they made the final step and adopted Alekzander, but they call him Sascha.

For nine months after they picked him up from Mercy Hospital they've been his foster parents.

Saturday, they made it official.

In front of their lawyer and a group of family members, the judge approved Kelly and Roman and legally made them Alekzander's parents.

"We know we wanted to do adoption Saturday because we knew and heard that it was a big celebration.  Which is what we wanted this to be, a celebration; a celebration of life, a celebration of our luck and obviously of our family coming together," says Kelly Rooney-Kozak.

They are now the happy parents of three kids, and Alekzander's new siblings seem to be getting along just fine with the new addition to the family.
