GetSkiTickets.com, a discount lift ticket and season pass distribution company is now selling ski deals for 11 regions and 25 ski resorts.
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) November 14, 2012
GetSkiTickets.com, which is located in Denver, Colorado, announced they currently have lift ticket deals for 7 different states in the US and two provinces in Canada. "We're gaining momentum," says Brandon Quinn, Co-Founder and Owner. "With every resort that we partner with, we do a little dance here in the office." GetSkiTickets.com is currently selling lift ticket deals and season passes in California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Idaho, Maine, New York, British Columbia and Alberta.
Although GetSkiTickets.com has been around since 2008, in 2011 they relaunched their business in an effort to contract directly with ski resorts to provide "steep and deep" ski deals to skiers and snowboarders. "We originally sold lift ticket deals through Travelocity, Orbitz and Expedia, but realized that there was no growth in that model . We had no control over the contracts and we were limited to what lift ticket deals we had access to." GetSkiTickets.com now partners directly with resorts and offers discount lift tickets to skiers and riders who must book in-advance. "It's a symbiotic relationship, skiers save money on lift tickets and resorts get guaranteed revenue." Co-Owner, Heather Quinn says.
As an example of current lift ticket deals, GetSkiTickets.com has lift tickets for Durango Mountain Resort at 47% off and 46% off for Snowbird in Utah. The GetSkiTickets.com team mission is to get more people skiing and riding. GetSkiTickets.com recently launched a "Season Pass Marketplace", which provides skiers with discounts on season passes. GetSkiTickets.com currently has two resorts within their season pass marketplace. They are offering 28% off on an Adult Season Passes for Lookout Pass in Idaho and 28% off on a season pass for Homewood Mountain Resort in California. "We receive a ton of traffic and a lot of email signups for upcoming lift ticket deals and season passes." says Brandon. "We plan on pounding the pavement and getting more resorts to participate in our season pass marketplace.
