Despite losses in 3 of its last 4 games the Iowa State football team remains confident.

"We want to go into every game expecting to win every game" said RB Jeff Woody.

Iowa State (5-4, 2-4)  needs 1 more win to become bowl eligible.

"6 is the magic number but we want to get it and then we want to move past it, but we have to get there first" said Woody.

Getting win number 6 won't be easy this week as Iowa State is on the road to take on 17th ranked Texas.

"They do a nice job with tempo, they do a nice job with formations, I'm talking offensively. They do a nice job of working to get you out of position and getting what I refer to as easy plays" said head coach Paul Rhoads.

Iowa State and Texas kickoff at 11:00 a.m. Saturday. The game will be broadcast by the Longhorn Network and on ABC stations in Iowa.
