Kain Coulter rushed for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns leading Northwestern to a 28-17 win over Iowa Saturday. The Wildcats had a 28-3 lead when Coulter threw to Christian Jones for a 47 yard touchdown in the 3rd quarter.
The Hawkeye offense closed the game with 14 unanswered points but it was too little too late. Iowa's final drive ended when the Hawkeyes failed to convert on 4th and 3 following a 5 yard delay of game penalty.
Iowa (4-4, 2-2) plays at Indiana next Saturday.
