When asked about Iowa State's quarterback controversy Tuesday head coach Paul Rhoads was extremely vague.
"I have three" said Rhoads, who made it very clear would rather not talk about the situation."I'm just gonna go mute."
Jared Barnett and Steele Jantz have shown what they bring to the table but Sam Richardson is the wild card. Nobody has seen him play and a lot of fans would like to.
"I don't know if he has to be two times better than the other guys in practice last week. I don't think that's necessarily the case. I want to see who the best guy is on the field and then also play into what's happened during games thus far this season" said Rhoads.
None of Iowa State's quarterbacks spoke to the media and the players who did speak weren't very eager to talk about the situation either.
"We have three capable quarterbacks who will all get a shot during practice this week" said RB Jeff Woody.
"All three of the people are capable of running our offense and running it to the fullest. No matter who starts we're gonna come out Saturday and be ready" said RB DeVondrick Nealy.
