Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein rushed for 105 yards and 3 touchdowns leading the Wildcats to a 27-21 win over Iowa State Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium in front of a record crowd. The Cyclones had two chances to put together a go ahead drive but the offense was unable to pick up a first down on both occasions.
Iowa State quarterback Jared Barnett completed 16/36 passes for 166 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Runningback James White did not play with a knee injury. Kansas State held the Cyclones to just 65 rushing yards.
Iowa State falls to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the Big 12. Next week Iowa State plays at Oklahoma State.
