For 2012, the IMT Des Moines Marathon is reaching out to the entire community in an effort to raise awareness and money for charity. This year we're making it easier than ever to let all of our athletes, volunteers and supporters get involved and help make a difference.
The IMT Des Moines Marathon is partnered with Crowdrise to encourage the entire community to unite and fundraise for their favorite charities in 2012. Just imagine the impact the entire community can have when harnessed to give back in a fun and compelling way!
The IMT Des Moines Marathon Race Committee is made up of volunteers who have been participating in running and event management for years. There is no official requirement to join us other than a passion for the success and continuation of the Des Moines Marathon.
Alone, we are individuals attempting to give back to the community in which we live. Together, we offer a combined level of expertise that ensures a racing atmosphere for our athletes that is beyond comparison to anything else in the state of Iowa.
