Easter Seals Regatta

Individual and corporate teams compete in paddleboat races on Lake Cheerio, vying for the Regatta Cup and the Sunnyside Spirit Award.  Since 2004, the Regatta has raised over $431,000 and the competition is getting fierce!

Teams of two race to cross the finish line, cheered on by co-workers, friends and family who are also competing to win the Sunnyside Spirit Award for best cheering section.

Governor Bob and Billie Ray are our Honorary Admirals.  They are joined by this year's Admiral Suku Radia, President & CEO, Bankers Trust.

Any organization or group of friends can compete in our unique fundraiser.  Sponsorships and gifts of all sizes are appreciated.  All sponsorships provide support to create opportunities so individuals may live, learn, work and play in their communities.  The Regatta supports funding for all to attend Camp Sunnyside and program services in the Assistive Technology Center, the Autism Resource Lending Center, Rural Solutions, Equipment Loan and more.

Last year, Mike Helak, US Bank and Client, Mark Conaway won the Honor Round/Admirals Race, Hubbell won the Regatta Cup and the Sunnyside Spirit Award went to Wellmark, Blue Cross and Blue Shield!
