Two out-of-state women are behind bars after police found seven pounds of ice, a potent form of methamphetamine, six pounds of marijuana, two shotguns and a revolver in their car.
The bust happened when Marshall County deputies followed the suspect vehicle into Des Moines and then into Dallas County. Eventually, the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Task Force, the Dallas County Sheriff's Office and a Dallas County drug dog all helped in the drug seizure.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says the estimated street value of ice is nearly $400,000.
Ronda Hoffmaster, 37 of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Samantha Pauley, 22 also of Cheyenne, Wyoming face felony drug and weapons charges. Bail is set at roughly $180,000 each.
