IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - An Iowa City woman is facing multiple charges in connection with a number of crimes.
Lauren Craig was arrested Thursday on seven warrants for third-degree burglary, third-degree theft, fourth-degree theft and forgery.
According to authorities, the 29-year-old Craig was pulled over by police in a vehicle that matched a description of 1 associated with a burglary reported earlier in the day. She also was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated for allegedly smoking marijuana.
The criminal complaints filed against Craig accuse her of crimes dating to Aug. 30. Among, forging names and cashing stolen checks, burglarizing homes in Iowa City and stealing a wallet containing $350.
Craig is being held in Johnson County Jail in lieu of a $55,000 cash-only bond.
