Here comes another beautiful day in central Iowa!
Expect highs in the mid 80s and once again we'll see comfortable humidity levels. An isolated thunder shower is possible in southwestern Iowa this morning. We'll see more chances for storms out west by the Missouri River this afternoon. Those storms may move into central Iowa overnight and into tomorrow.
Humidity will increase, but temps will stay in check with clouds and rain chances on Thursday. If storms can develop, they're most likely during the mid-morning into the mid afternoon, and we may redevelop a final round into the evening. Locally heavy rain and some quarter-sized hail is possible with any storms that form, especially during the evening. We'll keep an eye on that severe weather threat.
Summer officially begins Friday and this weekend's weather is coming in right on cue with highs in the low to mid 90s both days! I think our best rain chance will come by Sunday evening as storms again drop down from northern Iowa.
Happy Wednesday!
